Of the 3 samples ordered, I liked this one the most. I don’t know what Bal d’Afrique smells like, that’s why I took it, to get an idea. At first it gave me the feeling that it is rather masculine, but later it turned out to be purely unisex. It’s a pleasant vetiver, I wore it in the heat, it’s cool and interesting. Good persistence, around 5 hours.

Compared to other perfumes tried on this site, immediately after spraying you can feel the alcohol. The opening is woody-spicy and slightly pungent. In the heart I feel a woody, earthy and cold aroma. It has a good projection in the first hour, after which it recedes (but you can still feel the breeze). Only after 5-6 hours, the projection is almost non-existent, being very close to the body and only those in the immediate vicinity feel it. The persistence on my skin is around 7-8 hours, and the price-quality ratio is ok. It seems to be excellent for summer evenings.
